Asaphus latus Asaphus latus is among the scarcer trilobites in the Russian Asaphid series. Having a greater breadth to length ratio than its Asaphidae cousins, it is likely descended from Asaphus holmi. This large speciman is stretched and inflated on an unusually large piece of Ordovician seafloor.
